HOUSE UPDATES
In 2023, we sent approximately 100 000 NOK to continue on the house.This has covered the kids living costs, basic living expenses and other expenses but also covered part of the building costs for the ACT home.
Due to the 200% inflation it has been challenging finishing on time, but thanks to your support we keep putting a brick at a time.

OUR PROJECTS
ACT NORWAY
ACT Norway is our administrative headquarters for partnerships and fundraising. We have a dream to provide ten children a safe home where they can express their own individuality, and allow them to explore being children.

HOME IN JIGJIGA
Through the Jigjiga project our mission is to provide essential support and a nurturing home for children and homeless families who need it the most, all while preserving the close-knit communities they come from.
We want to emphasize that this is not a orphanage. ACT Empowered builds dedicated homes for development, where we prioritize the needs of each child in our care. By working closely with the local communities, relatives who could not support them financially, we ensure a safe and supportive environment that paves the way for a stable future for these incredible children.

UPCOMMING EVENT 2024!
We are delighted to announce that ACT Empowered has been graciously invited back to the Oslo Matfestival, taking place on August 24th-25th, 2024. Following last year’s success, we are excited to set up our booth once again, where you can indulge in delicious sweets like waffles and cakes, and learn more about ACT Empowered.

OSLO FOOD FESTIVAL
AUGUST 2023-2024
In 2023 ACT was invited to Oslo Food Festival. We raised 7,500NOK through waffle and cake sales by our dedicated volunteers. Excitingly, we have been invited back for another year on August 24-25, 2024. Through these two days we fundraised ca. 20 000NOK!
RAMADAN CAMPAIN 2024
APRIL 2024
In April 2024, ACT Empowered raised 23,829 NOK through Speils, enabling us to support orphaned children and internally displaced families in the Somali region of Ethiopia. Donations provided nutritious food and new clothes for Ramadan and Eid, and helped families start businesses to achieve economic independence. We are deeply grateful for your generous contributions.

ACT Empowered og våre fantastiske frivillige delte ut suppe til hjemløse og trengende i Oslo. Etter suksessen med fjorårets limonadesykkel, hvor vi også delte ut suppe, gjentok vi denne viktige innsatsen.
