We are pleased to inform you that the construction of a protective perimeter wall enclosing the compound has reached its final stages, necessitating the completion of various finishing activities.

ACT NORWAY
ACT Norway is our administrative headquarters for partnerships and fundraising. We have a dream to provide ten children a safe home where they can express their own individuality, and allow them to explore being children.

HOME IN JIGJIGA
Through the Jigjiga project our mission is to provide essential support and a nurturing home for children and homeless families who need it the most, all while preserving the close-knit communities they come from.
We want to emphasize that this is not a orphanage. ACT Empowered builds dedicated homes for development, where we prioritize the needs of each child in our care. By working closely with the local communities, relatives who could not support them financially, we ensure a safe and supportive environment that paves the way for a stable future for these incredible children.

NEW FUNDRAISING EVENT 2022!
ACT is hosting another fundraising event with Sjøholmen and Björg Thorhallsdottir. This year we are luck enough to have Destinasjon Glede host along side us to reach our goal of 100 000kr for 2022.

CHRISTMAS MARKET
December 5-6, 2020
With the help of many collaborators, we organized a Christmas Market in Sjøholmen kulturhus. We successfully raised ca. 100 000NOK and 100% went into building the children's home in Ethiopia.
RAMADAN FUNDRAISING
April 17, 2021
This yearly Ramadan campaign was a big success! We raised over 5 000 NOK for the kids in Ethiopia. We appreciate all the support from our local community here in Oslo.
OSLO FOOD FESTIVAL
AUGUST 27-28, 2022
With Tromaha Consultant's support, ACT was invited to Oslo Food Festival last year. We raised 7,500NOK through waffle and cake sales by our dedicated volunteers. Excitingly, we have been invited again for this year's festival on August 26-27, 2023. Join us for another impactful event!
